Our goal is to create the ultimate immersive destination for tabletop and roleplaying games. Allowing you to roll dice in the candlelit halls of a real rustic fantasy tavern!
Located in the heart of Shoreditch, the Arcanist’s Tavern is a tabletop gaming cafe with immersive fantasy decor & custom built tables for TTRPGs & Wargaming. We also have an ever-expanding board game library with all time classics and new independent releases.

The Apothecary
Our delightful cafe and board game library! Complete with churning cauldrons, and long-forgotten elixirs. The perfect place to refresh between adventures, the Apothecary has a variety of casual seating options for parties of all sizes.
Full access to our board game library is available from £7 per person.
The Guild Hall
The place to test your mettle in tabletop miniature games, with 6’x4’ modular gaming tables, USB charging, and a variety of themed terrain available. All of this is set to the backdrop of a roaring guild hall, complete with banners and relics of heroes past.
Table hire for a single session (4 hours) is available for £18 for up to 3 people, and £7 for every additional player.
The Archives
Nestled between bookshelves of arcane tomes, you will find our roleplaying booths, custom-built to provide the ultimate immersive experience. Our booths feature hidden sound dampening, built-in dice rollers, and a privacy curtain.
Table hire for a single session (4 hours) is available for £21 for up to 3 people, and £7 for every additional player.

After a long journey, we are finally open! We’re still continuing to work on the tavern, adding new immersive finishes, decor, games, and launching our persistent 5E setting- Aeturnum.
