INKYFINGERS: JULY UPDATE II
Hello, all! Your faithful scribe, Inkyfingers, here again, with the latest news from the Arcanist's Tavern. Are you sitting comfortably? Relax your shoulders, unclench your jaw, and wiggle your toes, because we have a few things to get through this update.
AETURNUM - There is a lot happening next month in the world of Aeturnum. The Quest Board will be refreshed, with four new adventures to play from each of the Guilds. There will also be more Prologue dates for new visitors to the world of Adrestia. These events are now live, visit here to book your tickets!
Please note that these sessions are not suitable for folks who have not played D&D5E before (those folks should see below).
INTRO TO D&D - New to Dungeons & Dragons? Wondering what '5E' is, and what all those numbers and abbreviations are on the character sheet? The Tavern is holding monthly Beginner Workshops for folks who have yet to take their first steps into the world of D&D5E roleplay. The next session will be on Saturday, 24th August, with tickets now live here. Unable to make it to the session but champing at the bit to learn? NEW LIBRARY ADDITIONS - New board games continue to trickle into our library, slowly filling our shelves with cardboardy goodness. Some recent arrivals include two more from the 'Forbidden' co-op series, Forbidden Desert and Forbidden Jungle, some expansions for staff favourites 7 Wonders Duel and Carcassonne, and the new deckbuilder masterpiece, Dune: Imperium - Uprising, which is also available to buy from our shop. There are still more to come, so watch this space!
SITTING IS THE OPPOSITE OF STANDING - As demand for the Tavern increases, so has the demand for places to sit! To combat tired legs and backs, we have procured more chairs, primarily for use within the Guild Hall during special events. These lovely bum-perches are padded for total bum-comfort, and fold away for easy storage, so we can provide you with all the seating you need without cluttering up the room.
