Inkyfingers: March Update II
Hello, all! I am Inkyfingers, your faithful scribe for the Arcanist's Tavern, your premier destination for delicious libations and eldritch abominations!
FIRST ANNIVERSARY - We have almost existed for an entire year! Come celebrate our first Tavern anniversary by joining us for some games and celebrations on Sunday 16th March. Our amazing house GMs will be hosting some brand new adventures, there will be an Aeturnum community social in the Apothecary, and we'll be holding a raffle with fabulous prizes! We'll be sharing more info soon with tickets and session times, so keep an eye on our socials and discord.
APOTHECARY SOCIAL - As part of the celeberations, you can join us in the Apothecary from 6PM for our anniversary social! There will be 50% off library hire fees, and 15% off selected food and drink. To sweeten the deal, we’ve got a raffle planned with a number of prizes up for grabs. Our grand prize is a set of Aeturnum inspired dice created by Arcanist Creations! Come behold their geometric splendor.
WE WANT YOUR MEMORIES - To mark our upcoming anniversary, we would love for you share any memories of any outstanding moments you've had in the Tavern, be it a thrilling victory overcoming a terrible lich, or a Druid's Tincture that took your breath away. These memories will be collated and shared on the Quest board. Please send a short paragraph to benedikt@alchemygames.uk with the subject 'Taverniversary Memories'.
OUR FIRST LIVE SHOW - The dreaming God entombed within the Astral Corridor has begun to awaken, rewriting reality to ensure its ascension. The Last Keeper of Adrestia has gathered her most stalwart allies to descend into the sunken depths of its tomb, but an invisible game has already begun. Alliances will be tested, as a twisted secret comes to light.
Aeturnum α is an immersive actual play that will see our House GMs take the role of the elusive Guild Masters of Adrestia. Set prior to the events of Aeturnum, this prequel explores the doomed loop that set the events of the campaign in motion.

BLACK ARCHIVES - The branches of the Astral Corridor weave through time and space, echoing fractured realities once thought forgotten. The archivists of the Black Archives work tirelessly to catalogue these tales, reaching into the furthest depths of the corridor to glimpse what can never be.
Black Archives is a TTRPG story spotlight event run every other Friday, as our house GMs weave tales from across the multiverse. These original stories are self-contained and setting-agnostic, intended for both experienced and newer players. In addition to D&D5E, the GMs will be flexing their muscles in different TTRPG systems, such as Dread, Kids on Bikes, and the evocatively-titled You Must Sneak Human Remains Into Disneyworld.

TAVERN QUIZ - Ringo here; I've given Inkyfingers a particularly sticky toffee, which will keep him occupied for enough time for me to hijack the newsletter and say a great big Thank You to everyone who has been coming to the monthly Tavern Quiz. I've been having a great time hosting and writing, and we've been packing out the whole Apothecary with keen quizzers! We host the quiz on the last Monday of every month, the next being Monday 31st March. Entry is £3.50 and tickets are available through our site, as well as at the bar on the night. By the way, did you know that St Valentine is also the patron saint of beekeepers?
