INKYFINGERS: May Update I

Hello, all! April sure went quickly, didn't it! I could've sworn there was meant to be a second April update, but now it's May! Time sure flies, doesn't it?

BEGINNERS NIGHTS - Do you want to play Dungeons and Dragons but never played before, and don't know where to start? Check out our beginners workshops! One of our veteran game masters will guide you through character creation and all the essential rules, before leading you into your first adventure. What better place to discover the world of D&D than a real rustic fantasy tavern? We'll provide you with dice, miniatures and everything you need to begin your journey. Tickets are available for our May and June workshops on our website.

REFUND POLICY CHANGE - As part of our continuing effort to ensure that everyone gets a fair chance of securing tickets to our events, and to bring our policy in line with similar venues, we will no longer offer ticket refunds for our events. All ticket sales are final and can not be refunded or changed. We hope that this will help to make sure that everyone only buys the tickets they want/need.

Should you not be able to attend one of our events, please use the ticket exchange channel in our Discord.

DICE CULT - Legend has it, the social board game night Dice Cult has been reborn from a series of ancient rituals (about 2014-2018, in deepest, darkest Farringdon). Dice Cult strives to bring together gamers from all corners of the hobby to share a fun time around a table, playing games they may not have otherwise experienced. If you're looking to play more board games and meet other gamers, Dice Cult takes place every second Tuesday (the next being 6th May).

MISCONDUCT - Misconduct of any kind has no place at the Arcanist’s Tavern. We remain committed to providing a safe and inclusive space for all players. Should you ever feel the need to report misconduct, we have an outline of our safety tools here (https://arcaniststavern.uk/reporting), along with an anonymous reporting form if you do not feel comfortable disclosing your identity.

AETURNUM (α): If you’ve played Aeturnum, you may have left the experience mystified, intrigued and or upset. Why is everything bad? Am I actually dead, or metaphorically dead? Is this secretly a time travel story? What’s the deal with the triangles? Is there crafting? If you hunger for answers, Aeturnum (α) may answer one or more of the above. Our debut live show will be an immersive actual-play, exploring the events that led to the nightmare world you find yourself in now. Our House GMs will be taking on the roles of Adrestia’s legendary Guild Masters and descending into the Astral Corridor, accompanied by the Last Keeper of Adrestia. Things go poorly.

We had to reschedule our first event, but tickets are now live for 01/06. For more info check the link below!

Until next time, adventurers!

I.
