TAVERN GAME MASTER (SUPPORT)
Become a Game Master at the Arcanist’s Tavern!
We are looking for professional Game Masters to run D&D5E 2024 adventures at the Arcanist’s Tavern! As a Support GM at the Arcanist’s Tavern you will be running Private Hire sessions with a focus on beginner friendly modules, covering GM shifts in our original world of Aeturnum, as well as original adventures for our partnered events.
About the role
As a Game Master your main duty will be running original 5E adventures for our visitors! Some of the qualities and skills we look for in a Tavern GM are:
Creativity: You will be responsible for bringing our worlds to life and immersing our players. You must be creatively driven and passionate about roleplaying games and collective storytelling.
Communication: You will be required to coordinate and make yourself available for regular paid games. It’s essential that you maintain a high standard of communication whilst running games with us.
Compassion: There will be times when players require additional support during a session. You must be patient and supportive, ensuring that every player feels welcome and confident to express themselves whilst at the table.
Time Management: You will be required to regularly run games in a 3-4 hour window, ensuring that you hit all the essential beats of a session during this time. You must be able to effectively manage your time and players- ensuring that they have a great experience whenever they play with us.
Paid Professional Experience: Due to the challenges and constraints of running in a paid public environment, we are looking for GMs with previous experience running games in a paid professional setting.
What we offer
In return, we offer the following to all Game Masters running for us:
Payment for every session: We don’t believe in having our GMs run for store credit or free drinks. You will be paid £7.50 per player at your table (averaging at £52.50 for a fully booked session).
Store Discounts: We offer both our Core and Support GMs discounts in-store.
