INKYFINGERS: July 2026 Update I
Hello all! It's me, Inkyfingers! I lurk and I creep and I peek and I peep - but when I do it, it's cute. Here's what's happening in the Tavern:
FREE RPG DAY
Originally slated for 27 June, Free RPG Day in the UK has been postponed, due to supply issues. The folks at Free RPG Day tell us: 'Due to a US Customs issue (unrelated to FRPG Day kits), the kits headed to the UK are indefinitely delayed and will not make the June 27th date. This is no fault of the Bliss Distribution or the Free RPG Day teams and more communication will follow to the UK stores as we know more.' As soon as we get that info, we'll let you know, so keep an eye on our discord and other socials too.
AETURNUM II: QUEST BOARD
Discover a living D&D 5E world of intrigue, deceit and accursed undeath! Aeturnum II is an original D&D5E drop-in dark fantasy campaign. As a Hunter of the Wayfarer’s guild, you will be tasked with uniting the scattered remnants of the Isles - forging fragile alliances and confronting the curseblood plague that threatens to consume you from the inside.
Quest Board Chapter 0 has already sold out but there are still some tickets available for Chapter 1. These sessions will take place on Wednesdays 15th, 22nd and 29th of July.
Prior to playing any of the Chapters, all players must first play the Prologue: Requiem, which will run throughout the season. Next sessions available are on Fridays 17th and 31st July.
The Narrative Event will take place on 2 Aug, with more details to be released shortly...
THE FINAL CANDLEKEEP
There are a small handful of tickets left for our Candlekeep Chronicles Epilogue. In fact, there's so few, I anticipate they'll be gone by the time you read this.
So while it feels redundant to advertise something that's probably sold out, I have an ulterior motive for doing so: this final installment marks the end of a 17 month long campaign run by our wonderful GM Ruby, who will soon be leaving London and moving north. Ruby has always been a welcome addition to the Tavern, beloved by customers and the Tavernkeepers alike. We all wish her well on the next chapter!
DRAKONYM
On Saturday, 18 July, the Tavern will be closed to the public, while we host Dragon's Roost, a special TTRPG event held by Crossed Paths RPG and the Moonshine Adventure Company.
Drakonym is a cinematic fantasy TTRPG about heroes who bond with living dragons. Choose from the eight Dragon Families and grow your bond from Hatchling to Mythic. Dragons are companions of spirit and story, not pets, and their traits evolve with your choices and trust.
You play in Akeroth, a world of light and shadow where every roll weighs hope against consequence. Build dice pools from six core Attributes and roll the d12 Shadow Die to reveal twists and costs as the story unfolds. Wounds escalate through clear tracks instead of hit points, so every blow matters.
Tickets are now available, and include:
