INKYFINGERS: JULY UPDATE I
Hello, all! Your faithful Tavern scribe, Inkyfingers on the mic! Well, I gotta keep it going, keep it going full steam, too sweet to be sour; too nice to be mean. Well, on the tough guy style, I'm not too keen; trying to change the world, I will plot and scheme. Here's what's happening in the Tavern:
OFF WITH YOUR HEAD - There are still a handful of tickets left for our special guests Sam See and Stephen Case, and their hilarious show, Off With Your Head! Can you save the kingdom from a horrible curse? Find out in this interactive comedy game show, where two guest performers try to rule a 12th Century Kingdom, and YOU decide who lives and dies! This month's extra special guests are No Roles Barred's very own Laurie Blake and Blair Sheppard. This event takes place at 8.00pm, Monday 14th July, and tickets are available now on our site.
DAGGERHEART/D&D BEGINNERS - We offer Beginners Nights for two of the most popular games in the roleplaying scene - Dungeons & Dragons (5E 2024) and Darrington Press' newly released Daggerheart. These sessions are great for helping you dip your toes in, without drowning, under guided supervision from trained lifeguards... did I stretch the metaphor too far? August tickets are now on sale but are going fast.
AETURNUM PROLOGUE - Tickets to the intro session into our very own world, Aeturnum: Prologue, are also now available, but going similarly quickly.
BLOOD ON THE CLOCKTOWER - Our July Blood on the Clocktower game has sold out, but we still have spaces for our August date. If you're looking to try this behemoth of social deduction games, this is an excellent place to start.
AETURNUM: LIGHTS OUT NARRATIVE EVENT/SEVERANCE PT 2 - Tickets for both of our Aeturnum Narrative Events will be going on sale at 6PM Monday 14 July. Lights Out involves homunculi and is profoundly evil. Severance is still gay. Luna has said that more information is available on the site but what more could you possibly need?
WOMEN OF TTRPG 5th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION - The organisation Women of TTRPG are celebrating their 5th birthday! With us! Women of TTRPG aim to highlight the talented and diverse women of the Tabletop Roleplaying scene, and will be holding a social event in the Apothecary from 6pm on the 2nd August.
