INKYFINGERS NEWSLETTER: JUNE UPDATE II

Hello, all! Inyfingers here - I think I managed to hit my biweekly target? I'm still getting accustomed to your plane's calendar. You allow emperors to add months they named after themselves? You folks are very odd. Maybe, one day, a newsletter will go out on the 1st of Inkyfinguary. A scribe can dream... Anyway, there's been a lot of movement in the Tavern, and a lot coming up, so here we go:

FREE RPG DAY - Saturday 22 June is Free RPG Day, a day when RPG publishers contribute adventures, previews, and other goodies to bundles sent out to retailers around the world, who then provide those goodies to their customers free of charge! The Tavern will be taking part in Free RPG Day, and visitors will be able to grab up to three items each from the huge range of quickstarts and one-shot modules available. In addition to the free goodies, we will be hosting several tables of roleplaying adventure one-shots - we have the Aeternum Prologue 'As Above', using the D&D5E system, and Rowan, Rook & Decard's new system 'Hollows'. Guests who attend the Hollows session will also each get their own copy of the Hollows Quickstart book. Tickets are available through our Events page.

MURDER MYSTERY EVENT - We have been warned: on the evening of Friday, 28th June, our walls will shift and intertwine with another plane to become the illustrious Ravenscourt Manor, where a murder will take place. Fate being what it is, we can't do anything to prevent the murder, but YOU can help solve it, with the help of the amazing folk at Nobody's Fool Mystery Games. This murder mystery event promises to be a dazzling, devious dance of deceit and decadence. Further details are available on our Events page.

MENU CHANGES - As we settle into the Tavern, we are still finding what works and what doesn't, and as such, we've found that some of the meals on offer can seriously impede our overall service to the customers, as well as leading to high levels of food wastage. As such, we have made the difficult decision to cut fries and burgers from our menu. However, all is not lost - in their place is our range of pizzas, hand-assembled by our very own Tavern Keepers! This delicious change is effective immediately.

PAIR O' DICE LOST - Well, more than a pair, actually. And not just dice. Over the last three months, we've found dice, minis, and even a GM screen in the booths after everyone else has gone home. Also, personal effects like spectacles and satchels. While we're happy to hold onto these lost little lambs for a while, our space is limited and we'll need to rehome them eventually. If you're missing a die or several, or anything else, please be sure to get in touch so that we may reunite you with them.

Until next time, adventurers!

I.
