INKYFINGERS: NOVEMEBER UPDATE I: ‘HALLOWEEN NEVER DIES’
Hello, all! My name is Inkyfingers, and I live with snakes and lizards and other things that go bump in the night, because, to me, every day is Halloween. And I'm still using horror references in every heading. Here's what's coming up over the next few weeks:
THE NIGHT WE WERE CLOSED - Please note that the Tavern will be closed for a private event all day on Saturday 16th November.
JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT IT WAS SAFE TO BE BACK IN THE ARCHIVES - The branches of the Astral Corridor weave through time and space, echoing fractured realities once thought forgotten. The archivists of the Black Archives work tirelessly to catalogue these tales, reaching into the furthest depths of the corridor to glimpse what can never be. Black Archives is a 5E (2014) story spotlight event, being held on Saturday 9 November, as our house GMs weave tales from across the multiverse. These original stories are self-contained and setting-agnostic, intended for both experienced and newer players. Further information can be found on our site below.
HE'LL QUIZ YOUR SOUL APART - We are dipping our toes into the Pub Quiz waters, with our inaugural Tavern Quiz, to be held on Monday 25 November and subsequently every last Monday of the month. The Quiz will be hosted by our in-house Quizobite, Ringo, held in the Apothecary, with half-price table charges (£3.50 per person), and will cover a wide range of topics. Tickets will be available through our website soon.
I WANT TO PLAY A GAME - Tickets are now live for a bonus rotation of this Chapter's Quest Board for those that didn't get a chance to play any of the adventures. We've also got new Prologue dates for those looking to joint the world of Aeturnum. Check out our Events page for more info.
ONE-STOP SHOPPING: EVERYTHING YOU NEED, RIGHT AT YOUR FINGERTIPS - Introducing Rift Faire, a one-day TTRPG mini convention! On Sunday, 15 December, We'll have independent creators from across the TTRPG scene in the Guild Hall selling all manner of wares, drop-in games in the Archives from house and guest GMs, and our usual selection of board games in the Apothecary above. This cozy Winter Edition will be perfect for those looking to snag some last minute gifts for the dice gremlins in their life! We'll also have mulled wine and other festive specials available at the bar.
