INKYFINGERS: SEPTEMBER UPDATE I (Murder: Abridged)

Hello, all! Behind the doors of the Arcanist's Tavern is a dark entity. Evil, ancient and hungry. Come in and say hi! My name's Inkyfingers, here to tell you all about what's coming up:

WAITER, THERE'S BLOOD IN MY TIDE - Bloodtide is our first major narrative event, kicking off this Season's storyline with a massive all-day adventure. On Saturday, Sep 28th, beginning at 10.30am, and told across four tables, this sprawling quest will task you with mounting a desperate rescue operation, and uncovering the truth of the unnatural plague consuming the villagers. Inspired by gothic horror classics, this quest combines D&D with elements of immersive theatre, as creatures slip between tables and a dark conspiracy is unraveled. This quest is broken into three parts throughout the day, which can be booked separately. We understand that some can't commit to a full day of adventuring, so each part is designed to be playable separately if required! Visit our events page (or click here) for more information on this massive Aeternum event.

ONLY MURDERS IN THE TAVERN - We are happy to announce that the foretold murder mentioned in our previous update has been solved, and despite the grisly subject, a wonderful time was had by all! A huge thank you to the team from Nobody's Fool for once again proving that homicide can be fun. We've heard shimmers on the wind that another nefarious slaying is due to take place soon; tickets are already on sale, so make sure you grab yours here before they're gone.

UPDATE ON D&D 2024 ALT ART BOOKS - After Wizards of the Coast had announced that alternate art covers of the new Players Handbook would be delayed, we have since been informed by our supplier that we will be receiving the books by the original release date of Sep 17th. I've been around long enough to know not to make any promises, so keep an eye on our socials and discord and we'll let you know as soon as they're available.

A WORLD INSIDE YOUR TABLE - Our in-table Virtual Tabletop screens are now available for use! Just plug in your laptop (you will need an HDMI port) and your players will be able to see all of your beautiful maps or handouts in glorious 4K clarity. If you would like to use a screen for your session, head to our Bookings page and book online for one of our large tables in the Archives. You will be given the option to add the VTT for an additional cost of £10 at the time of booking.

Until next time, adventurers!

I.
