INKYFINGERS: June Update II
Hello, all! I'm Inkyfingers, and I've been told I'm queer in both a pride way and a peculiar way! Here's what's happening in the Tavern:
FREE RPG DAY - Free RPG Day is Saturday 21 June! We will have all of the books from the Free RPG Day Kits available to pick up from the moment we open at 10am. In the interest of fairness, we will be placing a limit of 3 books per person, and we will not be reserving or putting any titles aside for customers.
From 6pm, we will be hosting our Aeternum Players Social, for some of our RPG regulars to relax and have fun in the Tavern. That said, the invite is open to anyone who wants to come along! Anyone who joins us will have a chance to win two tickets to Moonshine Adventures' Cambridgeshire D&D holiday, 12-15 September 2025, including: a double or twin room, all meals and 12-16 hours of thematic D&D with pro GMs, courtesy of our good friends at Moonshine Adventures!
BLACK ARCHIVES - Tickets will be going live any minute now for the Friday 4 July Black Archives games, in which GMs run one-shots using systems of their choice. As for this week, we only have a small amount of tickets left for the 'Monsters' session, which is being run using 'Monster of the Week', a fantastic system that uses shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Supernatural, The X-Files, etc. as its basis. SEVERANCE INITIATION - 'Initiation' is the first part of the Severance mini arc, a special three-part standalone adventure set prior to the events of Masquerade.
You are an Enclave special agent, tasked with infiltrating the vampiric courts of Tisis. Your mission is to assassinate their true ruler - Haera Agelamorn. You will be forced to betray all that you know for a chance to end Haera's reign.
This mini-arc is created by and for the LGBTQ+ community, with major themes that will resonate for them. We kindly ask that allies and those outside the community consider the spirit and intention of the sessions before purchasing tickets. Your support is appreciated, and we encourage you to reflect on whether this event is the right space for you.

QUEST BOARD - Tickets for July's Quest Board are going live tomorrow night at 7PM!
Complete assignments throughout the city of Adrestia to unravel a sinister conspiracy and expose those that have orchestrated it. These Quest Board adventurers are narratively driven, self-contained one shots that are refreshed regularly. They will allow you to uncover the secrets behind the ongoing Seasonal Narrative and gain Character XP. TAVERN QUIZ - Ringo will once again be hosting the Tavern Quiz on the last Monday of the month, 30th June, and there are still tickets available. £3.50 gains you entry, max 4 people per team, and can be reserved online, or purchased at the bar on the night. Did you know that the Greek poet Sappho is sometimes also known as the 'Tenth Muse'?
